The Radiomir Chronograph, entirely made in AISI 316L steel, is a classic model nad it also has its own sports character. Set in the 45 mm case, which has now become the standard size for the whole range, are the two chronometer push-pieces. They are perfectly incorporated into the design of the caseband (at 2 and 4 o’clock) and they ensure a perfect water-resistance to a depth of 100 metres.
The dial is black with luminous markers, Arabic numerals and tachymeter scale on the flange. The small seconds dial is positioned at 9 o’clock while the minute counter is at 3 o’clock.
The case of the Radiomir Chrono Rattrapante is 45 millimetres in diameter. This watch is a split-seconds chronograph fitted with a Panerai OP XVIII calibre, an automatic movement developed exclusively by Panerai. This prestigious haute horlogerie Swiss movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 42 hours; solid and reliable, it uses the twin column wheel system for switching the chronograph functions, controlling the chronograph and the split-seconds levers respectively. Every part of the movement is finished with meticulous attention to detail.
