Speaking on the technical complexity, the Panerai Radiomir 8 days has 45mm diameter polished steel case, featuring hand-wound mechanical movement with 3 spring barrels and 21 jewels. The case is fixed on the slim wire loop strap attachments to ensure maximum reliability and resistance. This model combines complex properties with elegance, where the screw-down personalized winding crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters. The personalized leather strap with an oversized steel folding buckle extends a unique look. The sandwich black dial consists of two superimposed discs, where the upper disc is perforated and the lower one uses luminous materials. The crystal is sapphire made from corundum, with 1.9mm thickness and anti-reflective coating with magnifying lens at 3 o’ clock, and small seconds dial at 9 o’ clock. The model also supports functions like hours, minutes, seconds, date as well as seconds reset.
Being one of the rarest from Panerai, Radiomir 8 days is also available in 18kt rose gold case of 45mm diameter. This model displays a black dial with Clous de Paris Decoration and a water resistance capacity up to 100 meters. The stainless steel cased Radiomir 8 days might cost around 6,400 Euros; whereas the more elegant looking pink gold version with Clous de Paris engraved black dial will require the wearer to spare around 16,000 Euros.
