The Luminor Submersible model is a professional diver’s watch that perpetuates the great historic tradition of Panerai in the underwater field. Besides the versions that are water-resistant to 300 metres, a special version exists, water-resistant to 1000 metres, equipped with a helium valve for decompression on the left-hand side of the case. The watch is the development in a modern style of a model produced in 1956 for the Egyptian Navy, equipped with an 8-day Angelus movement, a small seconds dial at 9 o’clock, a very large case, and a rotating bezel with reference markers enabling the duration of a dive to be read quickly.
